Christmas challenge

So I just got this email complaining about Christmas not being Christmas anymore. Here is my solution/challenge.

If you are one of the many who are offended by "Holiday shopping" and the fact that big retailers are celebrating "Holidays" rather than Christmas then I challenge you to not shop this year. That's right! Boycott Holiday shopping! They'll hear that loud and clear compared to an email that does nothing. Do Christmas the way it used to be! Take the "commercial" out of Christmas and spend it with your family and the people who you care about. Make something for your loved ones if you must give them something. Christmas is not about the latest and greatest toy but about family and friends spending time together.

  1. Amen sista! No really, Amen! I hate that Im forced to buy someone a gift because its Christmas. This isn't a problem when it comes to people I want to buy gifts for, but I usually will buy those people gifts at random times of the year, I think it means more. But when I have to buy a gift for someone I don't get along with, that just annoys me. Or I have to hurry to find a mediocre gift-ugh-how un-Christmas like.

I totally agree that if you don't like holiday shopping, then don't holiday shop!

Also, wooohooo! Welcome back to the blogging world. I swear, you're the only person who reads mine, lol
